Brookwood Memorial Halls is run by a small but mighty team of locals volunteering for the benefit of the community.
We're always in need of support from the village, without which the hall is at risk of being handed to the Council or a third party to run. This would mean a rise in hire costs for you, and reduction of service. At worst, the Charity would be closed.
If you have enjoyed your kids birthday parties at the hall, have been part of Scouts, learned a new skill, or trained your puppy here, please think about what the village would be like without this fantastic facility on our doorstep and consider committing a few hours monthly to help us maintain them.
Louise has volunteered for the halls for 10 years after hosting her wedding in the large hall!
Steph is our new halls manager joining the committee in the new year. She will oversee bookings, communicate with hirers and work with the Trustees to manage the day-to-day running of the halls.
Many people will know Maria from her time volunteering with Brookwood Assisting Neighbours. She uses the halls regularly and is happy to play her part in keeping them going.
Lauren looks after our website and has volunteered on the halls committee for over two years having moved to Brookwood recently.
Mark supports us with all things property-related and spares his time to volunteer on the committee.
Natalie runs Brookwood Playgroup and regularly enjoys use of the hall. She moved to Brookwood in 2010 from a remote area in Devon and is delighted to be part of the community.
Maureen has volunteered for the halls for many years, giving up her valuable time in addition to presiding over Brookwood's Women's Institute.
Like all good Scouts, Joe is always prepared. He's the bridge between the committee and our lovely Scout unit, 1st Brookwood Scouts.
The next Georgia O'Keefe, Jadwiga is our link between the committee and Brookwood Art Group.
